Oy, I've been going around and around trying to hunt down some bugs on Songbird. GDB hasn't been very helpful and I'm tyring to get electric fence compiled into xulrunner and songbird. Hopefully that will show some good data so I can track down where the bugs are coming from. If anyone knows of some good tools for debugging threads and/or memory issues (mudflap doesn't work with DSOs ) please send me an email (redfive {at} jgaunt dotcom.

The housing search is over ( serveral weeks ago actually ). I have a nice little 2 bedroom house in South SF with a garage and a yard. I love it, the cat loves it. I am the owner of a slightly used washer-dryer set now and have installed my first gas appliance.

 Best of all I can get to BART in under 15 minutes and that drops me off really close to <a href="http://www.songbirdnest.com/node/444">the office</a>, more about work in another post.

 I haven't completely dialed in the local community since most of the time I'm up in the Mission for work, but I've poked around enough to find the local OSH, Home Depot and a fabulous <a href="http://www.zorbaspizza.com">pizza</a> place a short walk from my front door.

 I am a little perturbed by my dsl. It seems very slow. I have ATT (sbglobal) dsl and I'm considering switching over to Comcast. If for no other reason than I can get my cable, internet, home phone and maybe even my Cingular bill combined into one and save some $$$.
