I'm not so up to date with the latest online social networks and Web2.0 bleeding edge. But I'm catching up. I've had a blog for awhile and now I've found a way to get myself to make entries again. It's Flock. And through Flock I'm picking up on some of the other stuff out there. I opened del.icio.us account where I can store my bookmarks online and have access to them from any computer hooked to the web. I haven't added but one link as a test, but I see the usefulness therein and plan to figure it out.

I implied in a previous post that the future was Songbird. I think I didn't quite get it right. The future is Mozilla based apps customized for specific uses. Both of these companies are making plans to re-invigorate the web and change the way we use it, largely to interact with other like minded people. I've been waiting for this stage of Mozilla's development for 5 years now and it is finally happening. I look at my desktop and see only a handful of applications that couldn't be written to the Mozilla platform. What a great time to be a Mozilla dev.
