Wow. I went and saw the show Ragtime at Foothill tonight. I've been working on the set all summer and have seen a run-through during tech-week but I was not quite prepared for just how good a show it was. Easily as good as anything I've seen up in SF. It's great to be in an area that can have such amazing local theater. I've done a couple shows now, and am proud of the them, but nothing quite as stunning as Ragtime. I'll be doing sets over at Foothill for the next couple of shows at least as I will be teaching their Theater Tech class in the fall.

I'm excited to be doing the tech stuff but long to be on stage. After the masters degree I'll be able to focus on the acting again and get back on stage. In the meantime it's keep the skills at a decent level and enjoy doing some tech work and getting the ms project wrapped up.

Hmmm.... can I post more than once a quarter? I'm not sure anymore.

Currently, here is what is going on: Finished the run of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, finished the coursework for my Masters in CS, am starting the work on my Masters Project, am taking a break from acting to do the afore mentioned work, will be teaching Theater Tech in the fall at Foothill Community college in Los Altos. That is the snapshot of my life right now.

There is, of course, lots more going on but those are the major highlights right now. Perhaps I'll write more later in the week. I will be spending more time at my computer in the coming months so the likelihood of that happening is actually quite good.
